Creighton University’s Bachelors program in EMS prepared me to join the work force as a confident paramedic upon graduation in arguably one of the most challenging occupations in the world. There were very few things I was faced with in the first five years working as a paramedic that I was unprepared for. My BSEMS can be directly credited with my rapid advancement in this profession."

John NewMyer, BSEMS ’98
Paramedic Firefighter, Omaha Fire Department

"The Creighton EMS program has given me a solid foundation on which I can step to the next level in this ever evolving field of medicine. Creighton’s program is truly one of a kind; it leaves you with a desire to care for others, and a confidence that you can--it’s what makes a Creighton education so valuable."

Jason Lu, BSEMS ’02
