Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services
Apply to the Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services program.

BSEMS (Online) Degree Completion Pathway
This BSEMS provides recognition of your paramedic education and experience with a pathway to degree completion for current Nationally certified paramedics.
Apply to the Online Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services Degree Completion Pathway program.
You will need to provide:
- Application for admission will be submitted to Creighton University, College of Professional Studies
- Submission of official transcripts from all prior institutions attended, including high school and post-secondary institutions
- Copies of current NREMT paramedic certification and unencumbered state licenses/certifications
- Resume
- Personal statement that describes a) professional experience to date in EMS, b) motivation for pursuing a BSEMS degree and future goals, c) reason for selecting Creighton University
- Three recommendations addressing academic and personal attributes (instructor, employer, professional colleague)
Master of Science in Emergency Medical Services
To apply to the Online Master of Science in Emergency Medical Services (MSEMS) at Creighton, you must be a health care professional who is knowledgeable and passionate about EMS, with at least three years experience and have a related bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.2.

- Fall Semester: Aug. 1
Additional Admissions Requirements
You must also provide:
- Completed application and $50 application fee
- Curriculum vitae, including relevant education and employment history, certifications and licensures, teaching and research experience, publications, presentations, awards, honors, affiliations, professional associations, experience and background in EMS and/or healthcare
- Personal statement of 500 words or less, explaining how successful completion of the program will assist you in achieving your professional goals
- Three letters of recommendation submitted by persons other than family members and preferably submitted by employers, undergraduate faculty and colleagues
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
