EMS Instructor Refresher
This online non-credit course is intended to provide continuing education to practicing EMS instructors and especially those interested in obtaining continuing education hours to maintain their professional licenses. Participants will have the opportunity to obtain all required continuing education credits in this course and will receive a certificate for the number of hours that they complete in the course. Topics of instruction will include adult teaching methods, rules and regulations, evaluation methods, and current topics in EMS education. Students will receive technical guidance in how to prepare and deliver instruction through distance education media and will have a chance to participate in online instructional laboratories.
Instructors may register for Refresher courses at any time prior to December 1 and modules are to be completed by the end of the fall semester (mid-December). Once registered it will take a minimum of two business days to receive your log in instructions from Creighton University.
A one-time $50 registration fee is required for admittance to the course. An additional fee of $25 per CE hour will be charged. Full payment for all fees must be received in order for CE certificates to be issued.
