This course emphasizes the knowledge, skills and abilities required of first-line managers of EMS systems, including personnel, operations and equipment. Topics covered will include how to analyze administrative challenges and situations, develop multiple management strategies for challenging situations, find resources in multiple media sources for the management of situations, write proposals and develop and monitor an organizational budget.
A Certificate of Completion is issued upon successful submission of all course work, but we do not participate in any type of sanctioned certification process that would allow you to declare you are a certified EMS Manager.
EMS Management is a spring semester class. The course will be offered again starting in January of 2018 and run through mid-May 2018.

Non-credit cost of the course is $750. Credit students are billed through the Creighton Business Office at the current credit hour rate.
